CNC Rack - Rolling Machine

First time, designed and manufactured in India by Threadaid, Hyderabad and won an award at ACMEE 2008 International Machine Tool Exhibition at Chennai, in the Innovation/Technology Category.

Some of the great advantages of this machine are:

• In a single cycle or same set up, we can roll two serrations and one thread on the same component.
• Similarly, three different Splines/Serrations (modules) with different number of teeth, can be rolled in a single cycle/same set up.
• Helical Splines and Straight Serrations also can be done in a single cycle for starter motor, etc.
• Two/Three types of threads also can be rolled in a single cycle.

The total production time for two/three, Spline/Threads is reduced to a single cycle may be within 20 seconds depending on Spline/Threads.

Because of above advantages, the component is finished in a single cycle instead of doing two/three set up on different machines.

Special features and additional advantages of our CNC Rack Rolling Machines:

• Cost effective, because of high production and long life of Dies, etc.
• Space saving: As this is a Vertical Machine, it occupies 1.5x1.5 meters.
• Coolant tank is inbuilt in the machine and saves space.
• It has no hydraulic system. A hydraulic system generates heat and reduces efficiency. Also there is no oil spillage.
• CNC servo drives are used, resulting in higher efficiency and lesser power consumption for the same type of job.
• Most efficient gear box with hardened and ground gears.
• High precision guiding systems are used.
• Rack speed is 100mm per second, resulting in high production for one type of job.
• Die life is more because of gradual formation of Spline/Thread.
• PICK and PLACE facility can be provided.
