The CEO / Managing Partner, B. Subbas Desappa started his career in Mahindra & Mahindra (M & M) after completing his Mechanical Engineering Degree with Honors. He is from the first batch of Management Trainee of M & M, which is one of the largest companies in India that manufacture cars, jeeps, SUV's, tractors and aircrafts. He was trained at American Tool manufacturers like Giddings & Lewis, Jones & Lamson, Brown & Sharpe, National Broach, Monarch, Waterbury Farrell etc. He commissioned their machines in India as well as in USA. At Diesel Locomotive, Varanasi, with American Engineers, he commissioned various machines and machined components for diesel locomotive engines. This factory had a joint venture of ALCO Locomotives of USA and Indian Railways to manufacture one engine per day.

Threadaid
One of the earliest in this country, mainly to manufacture thread rolls andregrinding them, was started in the year 1974 and exclusive suppliers of threadrolls as an ancillary to M/s. Praga Tools. From 1997, threadaid became afamily partnership firm of Mr. Desappa and his family members who looks afterother activities.
